Summary of the programme
This programme is closed for new applications.
Between 2006 and 2009 the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland has £257 million to spend. We want to invest this money into communities to make real improvements to the lives of people most in need.
We want to fund social change in Scotland through four strands of the programme:
- Growing Community Assets through which we will help communities become stronger by acquiring or developing assets for their own use.
- Dynamic Inclusive Communities through which we will help build stronger more vibrant communities
- Life Transitions through which we will support projects that help people deal with change in their lives and encourage them to move on
- Supporting 21st Century Life through which we will invest in projects that enable people to cope with new patterns of life and the pace of change communities are experiencing
The deadline for Outline Proposal Forms was 1 August 2008.
We can also help you develop or test your idea through our Investing in Ideas scheme.
Please note:
Following the 1 August deadline for outline proposals we expect to deal with a very high volume of full applications. This means it may take us up to six months from receipt of a complete application form to get back to applicants with a decision. However, every effort will be made to deal with these volumes effectively and we will avoid delays where possible.
